As far as first dates go, I'd say potentially going out for dinner, at a place of my date's choice would be the best idea, perhaps followed by that of movie. Of course funds for each would be split between the 2 of us.
A romantic dinner with conversation to get to know one another, then maybe coffee or drinks of some kind and more conversation or maybe a slow ride with conversation.
The very very first date in my opinion should be you and I meeting in a public place and publicly conversate for a few minutes and then take it from there.
Going out to eat to get to know each other better and then going to a movie or a arcade. We don't have to have sex on the first date. If she really wants to I'm down like Charlie Brown.
